Operation Support Our Troops
http://www.davidstanleychevrolet.com/
Thanks to David Stanley, Cox Communications and the generosity of the surrounding community, we are able to send care packages for Christmas to our deployed military individuals and military units.
Items are now being collected for care packages, such as over the calf socks, pre-packaged snack items, candy, toys and specialty items such as hot and cold packs and money for postage.
E-mail us
for more information concerning donations and Care Packages.
Thank you for your support!!
Who are the Blue Star Mothers?
We are mothers who currently have or have had children serving in the military. We are a non-profit Service Organization that promotes Patriotism and provides support to our Military Troops abroad and at home. We also support our Military Veterans.
Some of our Activities
We continuously participate in various fundraising activities so that we are able to send
Freedom Boxes
through-out the year to our deployed troops to let them know that we support them and to let them know that they are not forgotten. These boxes contain all types of items meant to let our men in women in uniform that we care about them.
We have provided Christmas stockings and assisted with meals for military families in the metro area.
We provided more than 300 Valentine greetings and Bears in a Bag for veterans at the VA Center in Norman, OK.
We have provided money to support the 19th National Veterans Golden Age Games held in Oklahoma City.
We continuously support the Gold Star Families in our community by bringing them together at our semi-annual picnics and luncheons.
We’ve participated in the home-coming celebrations for troops arriving home from overseas at Ft. Sill, providing hospitality to the troops and their families.
We are currently providing financial assitance to the YMCA Military Welcome Center at Will Rogers World Airport to help provide refreshments to military travelers.
